Help Celebrate Our Health and Care Champions

The Greater Manchester Health and Care Champion Awards 2018 are the first Greater Manchester-wide awards to recognise members of our paid and unpaid workforce who regularly go above and beyond to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Greater Manchester and we’d love for their to be a Trafford winner.

The awards are being organised by Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership, the body overseeing devolution of the area’s health and social care budget, with support from the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham.

There are 11 awards recognising the different but equally important contributions people make, from unpaid carers to students and apprentices, from established leaders to new and emerging rising stars.

Nominations opened on Monday 5 March 2018 and close on Friday 13 April 2018. The awards are free to enter and open to all individuals or teams, paid or unpaid, who work in the health or care sector in Greater Manchester, unless stated otherwise.

Nominations can be completed by colleagues or members of the public who wish to see an individual or team’s hard work recognised.

Information about the awards, the criteria and how to nominate can be found here. Completed nomination forms should be returned to gm.awards@nhs.net.

All nominations will then be reviewed by our nomination panel, and shortlisted nominees invited to attend a sponsored event on 13 July 2018, where the winner will be announced.
