If you are concerned about a child’s well-being, there are things you can do:
- Initially discuss your concerns with a senior colleague or your manager
- During normal working hours you can contact a member of the Safeguarding Children Team (Health) for advice or to discuss your concerns
- Social care (MARAT) can be contacted on the number below during office hours for advice or to make a referral. In urgent cases they can be contacted on their out of hours number, for immediate help or advice
How to Complete a Single Assessment Referral Form (SARF) for Multi-agency Referral and Assessment Team (MARAT)
The referral pathway is more simple and secure. Complete a SARF form which should then be emailed to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
There is also an electronic form which can be sent via secure email.
